The North-East Regional e-Science Centre, in conjunction with regional universities, will be running a PhD School on 10th-11th April 2006.
This will provide an opportunity for students involved with e-Science and related fields to talk about their work to an audience of peers.
Depending on the numbers presenting, we would expect to have a series of
25 minute presentations, grouped by topic.
Participation is invited from all PhD students from regional universities working on e-science related research. To apply, please send a title and abstract for your talk (maximum 300
words) to rob.smith@ncl.ac.uk by the closing date 10/02/2005.
The meeting will start at 10.30 on the 10th April, and end at 4pm on the 11th April. There wil be no charge for attending the event, but if you will have to fund your accomodation (if needed). If you do require accomodation then please contact rob.smith@ncl.ac.uk.
