Project Description |
There are two work packages which proceed in parallel and interact closely. The aim of the first work package is to model, analyze and optimize various Grid hosting environments. Issues addressed include dynamic allocation and configuration of resources, and routing of
jobs. The second work package aims to develop middleware that
enables the implementation of the policies proposed by package 1. A prototype environment where servers are reallocated dynamically in
response to changing loads has already been constructed.
