  Abstract: The WS-GAF project is investigating the use of Web Services technologies for Grid applications. The first of the two applications being implemented using existing Web Services tooling and specifications utilises the SkyServer virtual observatory and distributed computational resources in order to locate White Dwarfs in our galaxy.
